As we indicated in our Thanksgiving letter, we are preparing to stock Jumbo Cornish Cross chickens.  It is hard to believe the first batch of chicks will arrive in just 6 weeks!

Note: In 2011, chickens ranged from 4.5 – 6.5 pounds

In the spirit of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), we are offering a special for those customers willing to pre-pay for chicken to be delivered between May and November.  We are offering 5% off for customers willing to pre-pay by March 1, 2012.

Assuming a weight of 5 pounds*, one chicken would cost about $18.25.  With the pre-paid discount, you would pay $17.34.
